Job description

CMA is seeking an Accounts and Banking Administrator to support banking, tax, audit, association records, and client onboarding activities. This position works under the direction of the Accounts and Banking Administrator Supervisor and collaborates with banks, accountants, association managers, boards, CPAs, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate opening and closing association bank accounts and manage online banking access.
  • Process debit card and credit card requests, fraud alerts, wire transfers, and other banking needs.
  • Monitor bank balances and assist with CDs, CDARS, interest rates, ACH, e-checks, and payment issues.
  • Obtain, track, and distribute tax returns, audit documents, and related approvals.
  • Maintain association records, management certificates, governing documents, and registered agent information.
  • Support association turnover and new-client onboarding, including tracking checklists and required documentation.
  • Communicate professionally with banks, association boards, management companies, CPAs, and internal teams.
  • Perform other duties as needed to support the company’s mission.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED required; some college preferred.
  • Two years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, exercise sound judgment, and work with minimal supervision.
  • Professional, tactful, and customer-service oriented.
  • Proficiency with email, word processing, spreadsheets, internet applications, and other standard office software.
