Job Description: We are looking for a dynamic and motivated professional to join our team as a Sales Representative. This position offers an exciting opportunity to drive sales and to enjoy the benefits of flexibility and financial reward. We are a small, dynamic organization with a customer-oriented focus on selling power transmission components (i.e. gearmotors, bearings, chain, clutches and brakes, belts, couplings, motors, and material handling systems) for our manufacturers who are some of the most well-respected brands in our industry. Our customers are also some of the most well known in our territory.

The ideal candidate will be able to appropriately identify the needs of both new and current customers to find solutions using the products we represent. This will be done by developing an appropriate level of communication with customers, our manufacturers and internal team members to better understand any issues the customer may face. WHAT WE NEED YOU TO DO:

· Develop and execute sales strategies to gain new customers and increase sales

· Build and maintain relationships with customers to better understand their needs

· Understand and promote our principals' products to offer solutions

· Provide exceptional customer support and technical/engineering advice

· Meet with customers and prospects to demonstrate products - Travel 3 days per week

· Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction

· Determine channels and partnerships to serve OEM customers

· Meet sales goals and targets


QUALIFICATIONS:

· Proven track record in outside sales or related field with 5+years of experience

· Location of applicant’s residence is flexible

· Excellent communication and negotiation

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

· Bachelor's in Business, Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred
