Job description

Easterseals PORT Health, a non-profit service provider in North Carolina & Virginia is seeking a compassionate, caring, and dedicated fulltime Residential Regional Manager to lead a team of caregivers across multiple group homes in your assigned region that provides care for individuals living with developmental disabilities and mental health challenges. 

What You’ll Do

As a Residential Regional Manager (RM) for Home and Community Based Services (HCBS), you will provide supervision and oversight of the team in your assigned region of Residential Group Homes. Hiring, training and development, supervision and monitoring, compliance over staff and individuals served are essential components of this role. The RM ensures quality services for home residents and collaborates with MCO’s on requirements. The RM does travel monthly to each of the group homes in the Eastern Region and additionally as needed; this position does provide afterhours/weekend on-call support.

Ideal Candidate Attributes 

To join our team, you must have strong clinical skills, working knowledge of residential management to include facilities maintenance and inspections; budget and financial management and strong interpersonal skills and be able to lead and coach others remotely.

  • We also require proof of Bachelor’s Degree from an approved accredited institution with a psychology or social work focus
  • You must meet the qualifications for a NC mental health qualified professional
  • Must have 5-7 years of Residential Management experience with multiple locations
  • A valid driver's license, a good driving record and current auto insurance
