Primary Duties and Responsibilities

The Clinical Resource Manager is responsible for leadership and strategic direction of the New Technology and Value Analysis programs at Hoag. This position serves to provide clinical support for the Materials Services Department. Responsible for ensuring that hospital policies covering these and related areas are adhered to. Recommends policies when and where appropriate. Incumbent will be required to prioritize fluctuating workload and time-lines to meet the demands of the position. Incumbent works independently to complete all assigned tasks and duties within the established departmental guidelines. These activities are conducted while maintaining and or improving the quality of care provided to patients.

Education and Experience

  • Demonstrated analytical experience with knowledge of financial and accounting concepts

  • Proven management skills, including program planning and development, project management, and performance and quality management

Preferred:

  • Registered Nurse with a current license for the State of California
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Health Science, Business, or related discipline
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in Operating Room environment or Intensive Care environment
  • Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience
