The Director of Wholesale leads regional sales leadership to drive wholesale business growth and expansion. This strategic executive develops and guides a high-performing team of sales leaders through clear direction, performance optimization, and achievement of financial targets. By implementing data-driven strategies and fostering a culture of excellence, this role directly impacts revenue growth, market expansion, and operational effectiveness across all wholesale channels.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic sales objectives and goals for regional markets, identifying growth opportunities and setting measurable targets for market share and margin improvement
  • Create and implement data-driven strategic plans to consistently meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals
  • Cultivate a high-performance culture within the Wholesale team through effective coaching, motivation, and mentorship programs
  • Collaborate with Regional teams to strengthen customer relationships and enhance overall customer experience and satisfaction metrics
  • Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with key customers and industry partners to drive mutual business growth
  • Identify and remove operational obstacles by facilitating cross-departmental collaboration and implementing effective solutions
  • Analyze market trends to identify improvement opportunities and develop proactive strategies to address customer concerns and internal challenges
  • Provide strategic market intelligence and business insights to Vice President regarding industry shifts and channel business segment directions
  • Seamlessly operate across different regional business units to ensure consistent strategy implementation and resource optimization
  • Recommend and implement targeted professional development programs for team members to enhance skills and performance
  • Effectively communicate and influence across all organizational levels, including executive leadership, using strong presentation and interpersonal skills

Desired Qualifications:
  • Strong background within distribution, preferably within wholesale HVAC/R systems. Electrical, Plumbing or Building Materials.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Advanced computer skills including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Financial acumen and budget management experience.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of Distribution and sales leadership experience required, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred. Master's degree is a plus
