Job description


The Contingent Plan is actively recruiting an operations manager for our client. This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapid growth organization that is scaling its US operations. The position reports to senior leadership and is a great opportunity to have a real impact. Compensation is competitive and depends on experience. The role will start as remote, but will move to hybrid in the next 3 - 6 months.
Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage external vendors including legal, accounting, and consultants.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for the US operations including overseeing the HR and risk management.
  • Collaborate with executive leaders to tackle challenges and provide solutions.
  • Support the field staff as the link between the strategy and the execution.
  • Maintain confidential and sensitive information.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage the office and oversee related operational needs.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Master's degrees are always a plus.
  • Strong communication skills in English with additional language skills a bonus.
  • 3- 5 years experience in operations, office management, finance, or similar.
  • Prior experience working with geographically dispersed teams and/or rapid growth environments.
  • Desire to grow with an organization that is building new processes and to take initiative.
  • Prior experience in energy, construction, and renewables a plus. But, not required.
  • Capable of passing applicable background checks.
  • Ability to work remotely as needed and to attend meetings with international partners as required by business needs.
