Job Summary:

As the Regional Operations Manager, you will play a vital role in overseeing multiple general dental practices within your region. Your leadership will be instrumental in maintaining the highest standards of patient care and staff morale while implementing effective systems and processes for practice success. Our local partnerships provide the opportunity to collaborate with dedicated Partners and team members committed to their communities. As part of the Guardian team, you will work towards achieving regional business objectives alongside our Operations team, significantly contributing to the success of both your region and the entire GDP network.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the general operations of supported dental offices
  • Responsible for hiring, coaching, leading, supporting, and overseeing Practice Managers and teams
  • Develop training, planning, recruiting, and retention strategies for all staff to maintain excellent performance of each supported practice as well as full alignment to operating procedures and protocols
  • Provide and develop reports, analyze financial and operating metrics, and create recommendations/action to attain practice revenue and profit goals
  • Implement, administer, and maintain best-in-class systems and processes such as procurement and inventory management, vendor management, marketing review, hygiene protocols, compliance protocols, patient experience, "customer first impressions", end-of-day protocols

Perform other related assigned duties as necessary to complete the Primary Job Responsibilities as described above.

Qualifications:

  • Must live in or close to Florida Panhandle
  • Bachelor's degree required or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
  • Five (5) plus years of successful operations experience in a multi-unit or multi-state dental services business, or experience managing a large single practice (over $5 MM of revenue)
  • Outstanding relationship-building, interpersonal, and leadership skills; high moral standards
  • Functional skills in general management with an emphasis towards growth operations
  • Ability to interpret quantitative findings (profit and loss statements and practice management software KPIs), synthesize results, and apply learnings
  • Project management skills; analytical/problem-solving abilities; effective verbal and written communication skills; attentiveness to detail; proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to create a high morale, highly effective environment
  • High comfort with ambiguity and working in a fast-paced, high-growth growth and fast-changing entrepreneurial environment
  • Intellectual curiosity
  • Ability to travel 75% (Alabama and Florida panhandle) to supported practices

Compensation & Structure:

  • Compensation: $75,000 - 80,000; Full-time
