Position SummaryThe Site Operations Manager will provide dedicated operational oversight for either the Fort Bliss warehouse operations or the Huntsville analytical operations, in accordance with PWS 2.5.6. This position is responsible for the direct leadership and management of the assigned site workforce and for ensuring successful execution of all applicable Performance Work Statement (PWS) tasks.The Site Operations Manager will coordinate daily activities, monitor performance, resolve operational issues, and ensure personnel consistently meet contractual and mission requirements. The position requires an experienced leader with a background in physical logistics operations or analytical team management within a Department of Defense (DoD) environment.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide day-to-day leadership and operational oversight for assigned Fort Bliss warehouse or Huntsville analytical operations.Direct and supervise site personnel to ensure successful execution of assigned PWS tasks and contract requirements.Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily site activities to ensure operational priorities, schedules, and performance objectives are achieved.Maintain accountability for workforce performance, productivity, quality, and compliance.Ensure site activities are performed in accordance with applicable contract requirements, Government policies, procedures, and established operating standards.Serve as the primary site-level leadership interface for operational matters.Communicate site performance, staffing requirements, risks, and operational concerns to program leadership.Identify and resolve operational challenges that could affect contract performance or mission requirements.Coordinate personnel and resources to support changing operational priorities and workload requirements.Promote effective communication and collaboration among employees, program leadership, Government personnel, and other stakeholders.Monitor assigned tasks and provide appropriate status updates, performance information, and documentation.Provide coaching, guidance, and performance feedback to assigned personnel.Support continuous improvement initiatives designed to enhance operational efficiency, quality, and mission effectiveness.Perform additional site management responsibilities as required to support successful contract execution.Minimum Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management, Data Analytics, or another relevant field.Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in physical logistics operations or leading analytical teams.Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience within a Department of Defense (DoD) environment.Demonstrated experience supervising personnel and managing operational requirements.Required Skills and QualificationsAn active SECRET security clearance is required.Strong leadership and personnel-management capabilities.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities.Ability to effectively manage multiple operational priorities and deadlines.Ability to lead teams and maintain accountability for performance and task execution.Strong organizational and coordination skills.Ability to identify operational challenges and implement effective solutions.Ability to communicate effectively with Government customers, program leadership, employees, and other stakeholders.
