WHAT YOU WILL DO

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Regional Vehicle Distribution, this position is responsible for all analytical and administrative tasks related to the distribution of vehicles in the region.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
  • Manage regional company vehicle fleets, including pool cars, demos, marketing vehicles, lease vehicles, and affiliate company vehicles.
  • Order, allocate, group, distribute, and maintain fleet vehicles to ensure proper inventory levels and operational readiness.
  • Coordinate vehicle maintenance, monitor mileage limits, and oversee timely vehicle disposal and replacement.
  • Administer vehicle documentation, including invoices, Certificates of Origin, purchase agreements, lease paperwork, registrations, and titles.
  • Process and approve vehicle requests, company lease assignments, and special vehicle allocations for corporate events.
  • Utilize SAP and fleet management systems to distribute demo and lease-return vehicles for dealer or employee purchase.
  • Track, process, and reconcile invoices, bills, payments, and financial transactions related to company vehicle operations.
  • Prepare and maintain regional reports using SAP, MicroStrategy for Windows, and other operational systems.
  • Monitor and track vehicle disposition activities, including auction sales and asset recovery processes.
  • Analyze district sales managers' wholesale and allocation performance to support business objectives.
  • Manage dealer service loaner programs, ensuring accurate processing, tracking, and reporting.
  • Support regional distribution and logistics activities, including vehicle assignments, de-commitments, shipment control, transportation issue resolution, and fleet orders.
  • Provide training support and backup assistance for auto show vehicles, wholesale returns, file maintenance, and related fleet operations.
  • Exercise discretion in vehicle allocation, billing, collections, pool car assignments, and shipment decisions while operating with a high degree of autonomy.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
  • Must be a high school graduate.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • A passion for the automotive industry.
  • Previous Automotive Dealership experience is preferred.
  • Prefer at least one year directly related in sales, customer service or logistics.
  • Excellent Excel abilities and strong analytical skills.
  • Proficiency with Windows-based software programs - Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Basic understanding of Structured Query Language (SQL) as it related to the formation of queries and database operations.
  • You will be required to become a Virginia Notary

  • Compensation Range: $56,550 - $78,000 annual base salary
  • Monthly Hyundai/Genesis vehicle lease allowance (including insurance and maintenance)
