Job description

Kishigo, a Bunzl company, is a leading manufacturer of PPE to the construction, manufacturing, industrial, oil & gas, and electrical utility markets. We pride ourselves on our unique, innovative products and high level of customer service that our customers have come to expect. We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our sales team as a Regional Sales Manager to manage and drive sales in several large accounts in the East Coast Region of the US.

This role is Salary + Commission.

This position will have a Sales territory in the East Coast Region, and it is preferable candidates reside in Baltimore, MD; Philadelphia, PA; or Washington, D.C.    

Responsibilities:

  • Increase sales through greater penetration within existing accounts.
  • Understand customer agreements and drive all program commitments, including marketing activities, rebates, training, etc.
  • Responsible for meeting or exceeding assigned strategic initiatives and sales budgets for strategic and territory customers.
  • Lead customer conversations with business level insights to establish value, create demand, determine pain points, and listen to concerns.
  • Drive, grow and track sales pipeline utilizing Microsoft Dynamics through manufacturer rep groups, buying groups and distribution representatives.
  • Collaborate with key accounts on forecasting, fill-rate expectations, and inventory levels.
  • Develop strong relationships that go deep and wide across all key account organizations.
  • Present and promote value to key decision makers within all key accounts.
  • Negotiate customer specific and core product programs.
  • Accurately answer questions regarding products and their applications.
  • Present new product innovations to expand product portfolio at key accounts.
  • Demonstrate outstanding customer service to build relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Drive pricing strategies within all assigned accounts.
  • Communicate and cooperate in productive manner with all departments.
  • Coaching and developing talent to position the Kishigo brand and its value with Sales Agency partners and customers

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's degree with emphasis in business, marketing, professional selling preferred.
  • Minimum of 2+ years industrial sales experience with either a manufacturer or distributor.
  • Business acumen around accounting, P&L, margins, forecasting, performance metrics, etc.
  • Must possess strong planning, organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge in safety products a plus.
  • Required to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must be self-motivated and focused on continuous improvement.
  • Requires outstanding customer service skills and the ability to work in a team setting with a diverse group of employees, managers and external contacts.
  • Outstanding analytical, organization and executive level oral/written communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Previous experience with a CRM (Microsoft Dynamics preferred).
  • Up to 50% travel is required in support of customer visits, strategic planning, training, tradeshows, etc.

Kishigo's salary range: $80K - $90K plus commission eligibility based on experience, education and geographic location.
