Regional Operations Manager 

Identifying Information: LCNB National Bank 

  • Department: Retail Banking Operations 
  • Reports To: Mendee Wyenandt, SVP Retail Banking Operations 
  • Status: Full-time Salaried Exempt 
  • Primary Work Locations: Multiple Retail Banking Locations within Region Three which include: 
    • Loveland, Goshen, Oxford, Hamilton, Fairfield, Dent, Price Hill, Anderson, Bridgetown, Delhi, Hyde Park
    • LCNB Operations Center is expected approximately two days a week; hybrid work flexibility may be available, subject to business needs and manager approval

Position Purpose:

LCNB National Bank is seeking a Regional Operations Manager to join our Retail Banking Department. This leadership role is responsible for providing operational oversight and strategic support across an assigned branch region, ensuring operational consistency, compliance, efficiency, and service excellence throughout the retail network. Serving as a key partner to Regional Branch Managers, Business Development Officers, and internal business partners, the Regional Operations Manager helps drive operational performance, support organizational initiatives, and strengthen the overall effectiveness of branch operations. This role contributes to the achievement of organizational goals by fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Provide leadership, coaching, and development to branch operational teams, fostering accountability, operational excellence, service consistency, and continuous improvement across assigned branches. 
  • Partner directly with Lead Relationship Bankers as the primary point of contact to promote effective branch operations, associate development, and service excellence, while maintaining a collaborative partnership with Branch Managers to achieve business and performance objectives.
  • Lead and support the implementation of operational initiatives, process improvements, technology enhancements, system updates, and policy changes to improve efficiency, consistency, and regulatory compliance. 
  • Conduct regular branch visits, operational reviews, and coaching sessions to evaluate performance, reinforce standards, and identify opportunities for improvement. 
  • Monitor operational performance metrics, audits, exception reports, and risk-related activities, developing and implementing corrective action plans as needed. 
  • Ensure compliance with banking regulations, internal policies, procedures, operational controls, and risk management practices throughout assigned branches. 
  • Collaborate with internal departments and business partners to optimize workflows, strengthen operational effectiveness, reduce risk, and enhance the customer experience. 
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for branch operations, systems, procedures, technical support, and operational best practices. 
  • Prepare and communicate operational updates, recommendations, project status reports, and other information to leadership as appropriate. 
  • Comprehend, retain, and apply information necessary to perform responsibilities effectively. 
  • Participate in meetings, committees, and special projects, and perform other duties as assigned.

Required Competencies/Skills: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Banking, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in Retail Banking, Branch Operations, Deposit Operations, or a related financial services environment.

Working Conditions: 

  • Ability to remain in a stationary position up to 50% of the time. 
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 10 lbs. 
  • Frequent travel throughout assigned retail branch markets, approximately 50% of the time. 
  • Occasionally move/traverse to access files, equipment, and branch locations. 
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office equipment. 
  • Work is performed in both office and branch environments.
