As we grow our presence in New Mexico, we’re looking for a strategic and hands-on Operations Supervisor to help drive success in our New Mexico operations. This is a pivotal opportunity to play a key role in shaping GMTCare’s regional footprint by leading teams, optimizing performance, and reinforcing our commitment to delivering compassionate, high-quality service.

About the Role:

The Operations Supervisor is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of GMTCare New Mexico. This role ensures that services are delivered efficiently, employees are supported, and organizational goals are met. The Operations Supervisor will collaborate with team members to optimize processes, ensure compliance with regulations, and maintain a culture of excellence and care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency, consistency, and exceptional service.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain operational strategies, policies, and procedures.
  • Identify and execute opportunities to optimize workflows, reduce costs, and improve overall productivity.
  • Lead, coach, and support team members to achieve both individual goals and organizational objectives.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, deliver constructive feedback, and support employee growth and development.
  • Assess staffing needs and collaborate with Human Resources in the recruitment and hiring process.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture that promotes team engagement, motivation, and collaboration.
  • Uphold and enforce all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
  • Ensure full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Monitor services and implement quality assurance measures to maintain high customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and external stakeholders.
  • Respond promptly to client concerns, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Analyze operational data and produce reports to monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • As operational needs require, support frontline operations by performing Transporter duties, including safely operating company vehicles and assisting with patient transport in accordance with company policies and safety standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Oversee and support daily operations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, ensuring service, staffing, and performance expectations are met.
  • Communicate effectively by speaking, hearing, and exchanging information via phone, radio, and/or electronic systems, and visually process information on computer screens and other devices to perform job duties.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, to perform job duties.
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance and flexibility to work assigned schedules, including extended hours, evenings, weekends, or on-call support as business needs require.
  • Communicate effectively with employees, leadership, clients, and external stakeholders through verbal, written, and electronic methods.
  • Analyze information, prioritize competing demands, and make sound, job-related decisions in time-sensitive and changing operational conditions.
  • Maintain focus, attention to detail, and situational awareness while managing multiple tasks and interruptions.
  • Use standard business tools and systems, including Microsoft Office, dispatch platforms, and reporting tools, to perform job duties accurately.
  • Move throughout office and operational environments, including standing, walking, and occasional lifting, carrying, or moving of materials or equipment (generally up to 25 pounds), with or without assistance.
  • As operational needs require, perform frontline Transporter duties, which may include safely operating company vehicles and assisting with patient transport, including lifting, pushing, and maneuvering patients and equipment weighing 125+ pounds, with or without assistance or appropriate equipment, in accordance with company policies and safety standards.
  • Work in a dynamic environment involving frequent interruptions, varying workloads, and situations requiring adaptability to changing priorities and unexpected events.
  • Comply with all Company policies, safety standards, and applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience in operations, healthcare, transportation, or related field.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to provide clear operational insights to senior leadership.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with healthcare, fleet management, logistics technology, and regulatory compliance preferred.

Work Location: In-person and on-site.

Reporting: Reports directly to the GMTCare – New Mexico Executive Director.

Salary:

  • Range: $45,000-$55,000 annual salary
  • Salary will be commensurate with the candidate's education, experience, and skills.
