About This Role

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and growing key customer relationships that are critical to the organization's long-term revenue and market position. This role ensures alignment between customer strategic objectives and company capabilities, driving account growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction. The Regional Sales Manager acts as a cross-functional leader, coordinating sales, technical, and service teams to deliver integrated solutions and strengthen the company's position within targeted strategic accounts.

Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with revenue growth and long-term market positioning.
  • Own and develop key accounts by building strong relationships with executive stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Identify and drive new business opportunities with new accounts and target prospects.
  • Lead cross-functional coordination (sales, product, engineering, service) to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Build, manage, and maintain accurate sales pipeline and forecasts.
  • Develop and present technical and commercial proposals including specifications, pricing, and value positioning.
  • Monitor customer strategies, market trends, and competitor activity to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Act as the primary customer advocate internally, translating customer requirements into product and service priorities.
     

Essential Qualifications, Experience, And Skills 

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering  or Business Management
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Sales, Key Account Management, or Business Development within the electrical market.
  • Demonstrated network and prior influential experience in the data center infrastructure business.
  • Experience implementing sales strategies and standards for the industrial electrical market.
  • International project management experience is a plus.
  • Prior success with digital sales or digital selling techniques.
  • Deep knowledge of Electrical Products in the Datacenter Industry (UPS, PDU, STS, RPP, Transformers, BESS, etc)
  • Strong analytical mindset and business acumen for specification activities.
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while effectively communicating key performance indicators, goals, and results.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and networking skills.
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Strong judgment and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to prepare and manage complex schedules for sales and marketing activities.
  • Experience with the various Channels in the Datacentres Market.
  • Strong leadership and communication. 
  • Self-starter able to define new processes. 
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally (Sales, Marketing, Engineering). 

Additional Specific Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly; must maintain a valid passport for international travel.
  • Fully remote role within a home office environment 

Compensation range: $100,000 / $120,000 CAD + Commercial bonus
