Join Our Team as a Dealer Development & Sales Representative

We are seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Dealer Development & Sales Representative to help grow our dealer network, strengthen customer relationships, and expand market opportunities. This role combines both inside and outside sales responsibilities, including prospecting, account management, dealer support, product training, and territory development. Key Responsibilities

• Prospect and qualify new customer and dealer opportunities.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned customer accounts and dealer partners.
• Schedule and conduct product education, demonstrations, and training for new and existing customers.
• Prepare quotations and follow up on sales opportunities.
• Achieve established sales goals and support territory growth initiatives.
• Maintain accurate customer and sales activity records within CRM software.
• Coordinate with operations, production, and customer service teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Resolve customer concerns and escalate issues when appropriate.
• Develop territory growth plans and execute account strategies.
• Follow industry trends to identify sales opportunities, emerging markets, and customer needs.
• Represent the company at trade shows, dealer events, and industry functions.
• Recommend marketing strategies to support regional growth and dealer development efforts.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

• Minimum of 3–5 years of successful sales experience.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to travel extensively during seasonal periods, including overnight travel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work independently, stay organized, and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred

• Agriculture background or industry experience.
• Experience working with CRM software and ERP systems.
• Experience conducting customer training, product demonstrations, or dealer development activities.
• Experience representing a company at trade shows or industry events.

Travel Requirements

• Extensive seasonal travel is required, primarily in the months of July through February, including overnight stays.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, and sitting.
• Regular use of hands and arms to demonstrate or set up equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Work Environment

This position combines office-based sales activities with regular travel to customer sites, dealer locations, trade shows, and industry events. Successful candidates are self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing customer needs, travel schedules, and sales objectives in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation

Compensation will be a base salary plus commission to be negotiated based on experience.
