Tasting Room Associate

Overshine Wine Co.

Healdsburg, CA

$25 - $30/hr

Part-time

Posted 8 days ago

Job description

We are a Sonoma County winery with a tasting room that plays soul, hip-hop, jazz, and reggae on vinyl. The wine is serious. The experience is not stuffy. If you have worked in hospitality, specialty food, coffee, or any service environment where you had to earn trust and educate at the same time, we want to talk.

Wine knowledge is a plus, not a requirement. We train for that. What we do not train for is genuine warmth with guests and pride in a well-run shift.

What you will do
  • Host tastings with your own voice, no script.
  • Build guest relationships and grow our wine club through real conversation.
  • Keep the room dialed: set-up, stocking, cleaning, closing.
  • Support content creation when opportunities arise on the floor: photos, video, behind the scenes moments.
  • Support private events that reflect the Overshine brand.

What we are looking for
  • Strong people instincts and comfort with all kinds of guests.
  • Curiosity about what you taste, drink, eat, or listen to.
  • Reliability and attention to detail in a fast-moving environment.
  • Comfortable with POS systems and basic digital tools including Google Workspace. Experience with Commerce7 or a wine DTC platform is a plus.
  • Saturday and Sunday availability required. Weekdays and events part of the mix.
  • Must be 21+ and able to lift 40 lbs.

What you get
  • $25 to $30/hr depending on experience, plus tips, club membership bonus, and sales commission.
  • Hands-on wine training focused on distinctive varietals and sustainable farming.
  • Employee wine discount.
  • A role where your perspective matters to how we show up for guests.
