Parking Attendant | Part Time
Overview:
To graciously welcome guests to the hotel offering them assistance with their baggage and directions to the Front Desk, while effectively managing the flow of traffic in and out of the Front Drive at the Omni Hotel or Resort. The Doorman is typically the first employee the guest comes in contact with, and this initial interaction is vital to the guest's experience.
Responsibilities:
  • Greet Guests and welcome them to the hotel
  • Tags the baggage with the proper claim checks and gives the guest his/her claim ticket for the baggage.
  • Unloads the baggage from the car or taxi and bring it inside to the Bellstand.
  • Direct guests to the Front Desk.
  • Calls taxis for guests as needed.
  • Work in tandem with the Bell Captain with all luggage storage and retrieval.
  • Loads the baggage in the cars or taxis for departing guests thanking them for choosing our hotel.
  • Maintains a clean and orderly appearance of the work areas at all times.
  • Controls the traffic flow in and out of the Motor Lobby.
  • Controls traffic flow on the front drive.
  • Notifies the Front Desk and Guest Services of VIP arrivals whenever possible.
  • Responsible for scheduling of the Valet Team to the set labor model.
  • Working with the Guest Service Supervisor to perform Coaching and Counseling's on the valet team members as required to uphold the work rules of the Omni Hotels and Resorts.

Qualifications:
  • Must be able to run for extended periods of time (to get guest cars from the parking lot)
  • Must be 21+ years old
  • Must have a flexible schedule and be willing to cover shifts as needed; supervisory experience is encouraged.
