Regatta Bay Golf & Yacht Club is located in the beautiful city of Destin, FL which is nestled in the heart of Florida’s Emerald Coast. We are home to the best beaches in the world and known for our top ranked golf course. We are semi-private but also open to the public. Our Golf Academy provides the most intuitive golf lessons in Destin, powered by PGA Pros and Trackman Technology. We have premium Callaway Club Rentals Available.

Job Title: Starter-Marshall ~ Regatta Bay

Reports To: Head Golf Professional

Summary: The Starter-Marshall role on a golf course is crucial for maintaining order, ensuring a smooth flow of play, and providing excellent customer service to golfers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

⦁ Managing tee times

⦁ Maintaining the pace of play

⦁ Enforcing course policies

⦁ Providing excellent customer service

⦁ Assisting players and spectators

⦁ Ensuring compliance with course regulations

⦁ Helping to ensure a positive experience for players on the course

⦁ Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); previous experience in customer service a must; expert knowledge of golf preferred

Passionate about hospitality.

Knowledge of the game of golf is an asset.

Multi-tasking, organizational and time management skills are critical.

Possess excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate professionally.

Availability Open and operational seven days a week. Employees are required to be available to workdays, nights, weekends, and holidays.

License Requirements Valid driver’s license that has been in effect for at least three years, with no major violations and no more than two minor violations in the past three years.
