Work EnvironmentThis position primarily operates in a remote setting, allowing for flexibility while also maintaining opportunities for in-person engagement as needed. Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms, tailoring initial assessments to individual backgrounds and needs.
- Collaborate with clients to craft personalized treatment plans that align with their unique goals, ensuring a holistic approach to mental health.
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to implement effective interventions and measure progress.
- Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment alternatives, and self-care practices to empower them on their recovery journeys.
- Continuously monitor client progress and adapt treatment plans as needed, using data-driven insights to inform interventions.
- Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care and comprehensive support for clients.
- Stay current with research and advancements in mood disorder treatment, enhancing therapeutic strategies and client outcomes.
- Maintain meticulous documentation in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards, ensuring confidentiality and integrity.

Qualifications- Current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
- A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field, demonstrating a strong educational foundation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Empathy and a nonjudgmental attitude are essential to support clients authentically.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle a diverse caseload effectively.
- At least one year of direct experience working in a mental health setting, particularly with mood disorders.
