Job description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students' communication needs in a vibrant school setting. You'll collaborate with experienced speech-language pathologists and a caring educational team to help K-12 learners develop essential speech and language skills, fostering their academic and social success. This role is ideal for a passionate SLPA eager to make a meaningful impact in an educational environment.
This position is set to begin as soon as possible and continues through May 25, 2027, providing steady, full-time hours (35 per week). While caseload specifics will be tailored following your interview, you can expect to serve a diverse population across elementary to high school ages, giving you valuable hands-on experience and professional growth.
Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Active SLPA licensure (or eligibility for licensure) in the state required
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred, but enthusiastic new graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to engage positively with students, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct and indirect speech/language services to students under SLP supervision
  • Assist with implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
