Job description

Overview

The Senior MDM Product Analyst – Informatica 360 is responsible for driving the architecture, design, and delivery of enterprise-scale Master Data Management (MDM) solutions across the organization. This role provides strategic leadership for MDM platforms, focusing on end-to-end data architecture, scalable integrations, and real-time data enablement.

The candidate will lead the implementation of Informatica Customer 360 and Reference 360, ensuring seamless data flow from source systems to downstream consumers. This role requires deep expertise in API-driven and event-driven architectures, data pipeline engineering (batch and real-time), and enterprise integration patterns—enabling a governed, unified, and high-quality customer data ecosystem across banking platforms


Responsibilities

MDM Architecture

  • Define and lead enterprise MDM architecture and integration strategy in collaboration with the Technology team.
  • Provide requirements and review design of scalable architectures for Customer 360 and Reference 360 implementations.
  • Establish rules and standards for data modeling, mastering, survivorship, and golden record creation.
  • Align MDM architecture with enterprise data, cloud, and digital transformation strategies.

Platform Development – Informatica 360

  • Review development and configuration of Informatica Customer 360 and Reference 360, including:
  • Match & merge rules (deterministic and probabilistic)
  • Survivorship rules
  • Hierarchies and relationship models
  • Optimize performance, scalability, and maintainability of the MDM platform.

Data Modeling & Quality

  • Design or review logical and physical data models for MDM domains (Customer, Party, Reference Data).
  • Implement and enforce data quality and validation rules.
  • Ensure high standards of data accuracy, consistency, and completeness.

Integration & Data Engineering – API & Event-Driven Enablement

  • Review design and implementation of end-to-end data pipelines from source systems through MDM to downstream consumption layers.
  • Create or review requirements for batch and real-time data ingestion frameworks, extraction, transformation, and publishing pipelines.
  • Integrate MDM with key enterprise systems, including Core Banking, CIS, Fraud, Compliance, and Digital platforms.
  • Review API-first MDM access patterns and real-time data exchange using event-driven architectures (Kafka, messaging frameworks).
  • Ensure MDM data is accessible for operational systems, analytics, and digital channels.
  • Design and review data services and microservices for MDM consumption.

Collaboration & Technical Leadership

  • Act as product leader and mentor for development teams.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Data Engineers, Data Governance teams, and Architects.
  • Drive design reviews and architectural governance.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear guidance for business and technical stakeholders.

Testing, Deployment & Validation

  • Define and implement testing strategies covering unit, integration, UAT, and performance testing.
  • Validate data ingestion and transformation, match & merge outcomes, and data synchronization across systems.
  • Support release management and production deployments.

Performance & Optimization

  • Monitor and optimize data pipelines, API performance, and MDM platform scalability in collaboration with Technical Leads and Operations.
  • Troubleshoot complex data and integration issues across systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Data Management, Data Analytics OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Data Management, Data Analytics

Core MDM Expertise

  • 12+ years of experience in data engineering, MDM development, or integration architecture.
  • Experience working in Agile methodology, including writing user stories and test cases using Jira.
  • Deep expertise in Customer/Party MDM (Individual & Non-Individual), golden record management, and match & merge frameworks.
  • Strong background in the Finance/Banking domain.

Platforms & Tools

  • Strong hands-on experience with Informatica Customer 360 & Reference 360 (mandatory; SaaS preferred).
  • Familiarity with other MDM tools such as Reltio, IBM MDM (preferred).
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and data integration tools (Informatica, ETL frameworks).
  • Experience with API development (REST, GraphQL) and messaging/event platforms (Kafka, MQ, etc.).
  • Experience building controls on data environments.

Data & Architecture

  • Strong understanding of data modeling (logical & physical), data integration patterns, data governance, and data lineage.
  • Proven experience designing real-time and batch data architectures.

Cloud & Data Platforms

  • Experience with Snowflake or other cloud data platforms (preferred).
  • Exposure to Azure, AWS, or hybrid cloud architecture.

Domain Knowledge

  • Experience in banking or financial services, including familiarity with Core Banking, Customer Information Systems, and Fraud/Risk/Compliance (KYC preferred).

Leadership & Soft Skills

  • Strong technical leadership and mentoring ability.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to lead enterprise-scale initiatives independently.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in large-scale enterprise data transformation programs.
