Full-Time & Per Diem Opportunities

Right Choice Laboratory is seeking experienced Reference Laboratory Technicians to join our growing laboratory team in Dallas, TX.

Reference laboratory experience is required. We are specifically looking for candidates who have hands-on experience working in a reference laboratory, clinical laboratory, diagnostic laboratory, or similar high-volume testing environment.

This position is focused on specimen processing, laboratory testing, quality control, equipment operation, and supporting the day-to-day operations of a busy reference laboratory.

PART-TIME

Position: Reference Laboratory Technician
Schedule: Part Time - VERY flexible. As long as tests are completed.
Location: Dallas, TX

What You'll Do

  • Perform laboratory testing and related procedures in a reference laboratory environment.
  • Process, prepare, and handle patient specimens for analysis.
  • Perform pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical laboratory procedures.
  • Operate, monitor, and maintain laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
  • Perform quality control procedures and help ensure accurate and reliable test results.
  • Follow established laboratory procedures, protocols, and safety standards.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and testing issues as needed.
  • Monitor laboratory supplies, reagents, and inventory.
  • Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
  • Assist with training and supporting other laboratory staff as needed.
  • Communicate professionally and work cooperatively with laboratory management and team members.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  • Previous reference laboratory experience – this is a MUST.
  • Hands-on experience with clinical laboratory testing, specimen processing, and laboratory procedures.
  • Ability to work independently while following established laboratory procedures and quality standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced laboratory environment.

Preferred:

  • Experience working in a high-volume reference laboratory or diagnostic laboratory.
  • Experience operating laboratory analyzers and instrumentation.
  • Experience with laboratory quality control and quality assurance procedures.
  • Laboratory-related education or training.
