Position Concept:

  • The position will be responsible for providing bag, cart and range services to the members and guests of The Princess Anne Country Club. The Outside Operations Team Member works closely with the Professional and Golf Operations Teams to provide the members of the club with excellent service.
  • The Outside Operations Team Members at the Princess Anne are responsible for providing Personal Attention that is Consistently Captivating. Outside Team Members are responsible for assisting and tracking member and guest play, maintaining all practice areas, overseeing the golf and cart fleets as well as the bag storage room. This position with also assist with tournament operations as well as providing lateral support to the Golf Operations Team in whatever capacity needed. 
  • This position also requires an individual who is personable, dedicated, and self-motivated, who thrives under a team-oriented culture. As an Outside Operations Team Member at the Princess Anne Country Club, this individual will be expected to carry oneself in an upbeat manner; providing the members and their guests with service that is consistent with the standards of our great club. 

Our beautiful, 105 acre property features an 18-hole golf course, driving range, 11 tennis courts, two pickleball courts, fitness center, casual restaurant, aquatics complex and full-service clubhouse that includes two dining rooms, five event spaces, lounges/locker rooms for ladies and gentlemen, Kids Club 3800 babysitting and The Reef youth lounge.

We value continuing education, cross-training and promoting from within. Cross-training may be available to become a server, bartender, fitness attendant, tennis attendant, babysitter, camp counselor, cook, housekeeper and more!

Our team enjoys two complimentary meals (lunch and dinner) Tuesday through Saturday and lunch on Sundays, as well as two team appreciation socials each year (summer and holiday) and holiday bonuses.

Requirements

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Provide 'Personal Attention that is Consistently Captivating' to all members and guests
  • Provide unparalleled service consistently projecting a friendly, helpful attitude to all members and guests.
  • Greet and welcome members and guests to the course, assist at bag drop and load clubs on carts.
  • Welcome members at completion of round, clean clubs and assist those who wish to have their clubs placed in their vehicles. All other clubs will be cleaned and returned to the bag storage room.
  • Provide friendly and courteous service throughout the day including communication of miscellaneous information that may help them enjoy their overall experience.
  • Stage thoroughly cleaned and stocked carts. Maintain an orderly and clean golf cart fleet, starting station and storage area. Ensure that all equipment and assets secured at close of day.
  • Efficiently manage the tee sheet and communicate with the Golf Operations Team ensuring players get to the tee on time.
  • Assist with tournament set-up procedures; set-up and organize golf carts for any shotgun, outing, league play, or regular tee time.
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and neat driving range and short game area including picking and cleaning range balls in a timely manner.
  • Maintain professional conduct and dress at all times.
  • Handle member problems in an appropriate manner.
  • Cooperate with the requests of the Golf Professionals and/or Director of Golf with other duties.
  • Keep all areas around golf neat and clean including the grounds, bag storage areas, cart storage including personal items.
  • Assist Golf Professionals with course traffic control reporting all issues of slow play or improper course conduct to the Professional Team.
  • Assume the responsibilities of the Starter/Ranger when needed.
  • Prepare and supply ice/water stations as well as the golfer amenity station before start of daily play as well as monitoring these stations throughout the day.
  • Maintain a constant presence at the bag drop area and bottom parking lot, never leaving the area unattended by a member of the Golf Operations Team.
  • This position will help keep all working areas neat and clean performing general cleaning.
  • Understand club policies and procedures of the Golf Shop Operation.
  • Assist in the daily and monthly preventive maintenance of golf car fleet. This includes tire pressure, battery filling, etc.
  • Help maintain the pushcart fleet of 20+ push carts. This includes routine maintenance, cleanliness, and tracking
  • Positively work in conjunction with fellow team members
  • Strive to recognize members and politely address them by name - anticipate each member's need and offers service so they do not have to ask (specifically assisting with golf equipment)
  • Develop and maintain quality member relationships.
  • Promote a team-oriented culture.
