Job Summary
Responsible for managing active corporate real estate portfolio, including strategy, site selection and assembly, acquisition, negotiation, project management, redevelopment and disposition.
Job Responsibilities
  • Provide insight, direction, and implementation of corporate real estate portfolio strategy, including short and long-range forecasting of space, land and facility requirements for the corporation
  • Provide "highest and best use" strategic planning for the corporate portfolio, including economic modeling to support use proposals, if necessary
  • Manage relationship with third party real estate providers, including brokers, lease administrators, property managers and developers
  • Implement and maintain best practices and determine most effective systems and procedures related to transactions and administration
  • Manage the documentation of all corporate real estate assets and lead the development of an asset maximization plan for each individual property
  • Oversee acquisition, lease up, sublease, redevelopment and disposal of land and buildings required for company-wide operations
  • Lead the negotiation and direct the activities of real estate brokers and consultants for the acquisition and disposition of real property.
  • Oversee preparation of legal documentation pertaining to the lease, acquisition, redevelopment, and disposition of properties
  • Maintain all records, leases, purchase agreements, rent schedules, RE reports and related documents
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree in related field
  • MBA preferred
  • Minimum 4 years experience in commercial real estate industry or corporate real estate with an emphasis on industrial real estate
  • Demonstrated competence in construction, space planning, site evaluation, project management and real estate transaction management

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills required
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suite including Excel and PowerPoint skills required
  • Prioritize, handle multiple tasks and work in a fast paced and environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to maintain and handle confidential information

Working Conditions
  • Capable to work extended hours as needed
  • Capable of working in an open concept office environment

Physical Requirements
  • Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree
  • Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently.
