Redefining Strength information

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Strength and Conditioning Coach, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Strength and Conditioning Coach, you need a deep understanding of exercise physiology, biomechanics, and program design, typically supported by a degree in exercise science or a related field. Proficiency with fitness assessment tools, strength training equipment, and certifications such as CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist) are commonly required. Strong communication, motivational skills, and adaptability help coaches connect with athletes and tailor training plans effectively. These skills ensure safe, effective performance improvements and foster a positive, results-driven training environment.

What are the common challenges faced by professionals working in the strength and conditioning field, and how can they overcome them?

Professionals in strength and conditioning often face challenges such as creating individualized training programs for diverse clients, staying updated with the latest exercise science research, and ensuring client motivation and adherence. Balancing the needs of clients with varying fitness levels and goals requires strong communication and adaptability. To overcome these challenges, it is important to pursue continuing education, collaborate with colleagues, and build strong relationships with clients to tailor programs effectively and encourage long-term engagement.

Job description

Do you love helping women change their lives and improve the quality of their life? Do you have the ability to influence others to reach their goals? If so, you could be the program advisor for Redefining Strength.
The program advisor plays a fundamental role in achieving and actualizing the mission of Redefining Strength: helping people live their strongest, healthiest lives at any age.
You will do this by speaking with qualified inbound applicants over the phone for the Redefining Strength Coaching Program. You must practice high levels of leadership, integrity, and stay in alignment with Redefining Strength's core values of ownership, synergy, drive, and passion during all conversations.
This is not a cold-calling position. You will be speaking with pre-qualified applicants who have applied to our coaching program or those our appointment setters have scheduled onto your calendar. The role of this position is to guide and educate the prospects on the Coaching Program and sign them up. We have a proven sales process and provide you with ongoing sales training from an in-house sales consultant.
You must be comfortable and confident in selling over the phone and, most importantly, helping women change their lives. This is about more than just weight loss; it's about making an impact.
About Redefining Strength:
Redefining Strength is a fitness company that helps women stop chasing quick fixes and start building strength, confidence, and consistency that actually lasts. We specialize in working with women who have tried everything...diets, workouts, programs that worked for a while and then stopped. Our approach isn't about perfection or extremes. It's about building adaptable systems that fit real lives, changing bodies, and long-term goals.
We've had over 10,000 women go through our 1:1 coaching program and over 50,000 women use our self guided programs. We've been recognized twice on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing companies. What matters most to us, though, isn't press or accolades it's impact. The women who book calls with us are often at a turning point. They're frustrated, stuck, and tired of starting over. Your role as a Program Advisor is to help them slow down, get honest, and decide whether they're ready to commit to doing things differently and doing them right.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a high-ticket phone closer ($3K+ offers)
  • Confident and composed leading consultative, 45-minute sales conversations
  • Ability to uncover objections and guide prospects to a clear decision
  • Comfortable discussing money directly and respectfully
  • Strong emotional intelligence
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive without micromanagement or rigid schedules
  • Reliable internet connection and a quiet, professional environment for calls

Benefits
  • 100% remote and flexible - you set your own availability
  • Inbound, pre-qualified leads placed directly on your calendar (no cold calling)
  • Unlimited earning potential tied directly to your performance
  • Ongoing sales training provided by an in-house sales consultant
  • Proven sales process and scripts to support your success
  • Work with a mission-driven company helping women transform their health and lives
  • Be part of a fast-growing brand ranked on the INC 5000 two years in a row
  • Join a team aligned around core values of ownership, synergy, drive, and passion
