Our culture is intentionally flat, giving each team member the opportunity to contribute ideas, take initiative, and make meaningful impact.

We're looking for an experienced Marketing Manager who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and enjoys balancing strategy with execution. Reporting directly to our President, you'll lead marketing initiatives, pursuit development, and client engagement programs that position DesignGroup for continued growth.

If you're energized by building winning pursuits, collaborating with creative professionals, and elevating a firm's presence in the AEC industry, we'd love to meet you.

Portfolio Requirement: To be considered for this position, applicants must submit a portfolio showcasing relevant marketing work. Portfolios should include examples such as proposals, qualifications packages, interview presentations, branding, campaigns, marketing collateral, or other materials that demonstrate your strategic thinking, writing, design, and pursuit experience. • Represent the firm with clients, industry organizations, and strategic partners to strengthen market presence and awareness.
  • Monitor market trends, client needs, and competitive activity to identify opportunities and inform strategy.
  • Lead the creation of targeted marketing materials, campaigns, events, and content that generate interest and engagement.

Build Relationships / Create Opportunities

  • Manage CRM, content, and knowledge-sharing systems to ensure accurate data and accessible firm resources.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of marketing collateral, qualifications, project information, and presentation materials.
  • Support strategic planning, market positioning, and client feedback initiatives to strengthen competitive advantage.
  • Oversee internal communications and visual storytelling assets that enhance brand consistency and awareness.

Lead Winning Pursuits

  • Lead proposal, qualification, and interview efforts from strategy development through final delivery.
  • Collaborate with leadership, technical teams, and consultants to develop compelling, client-focused pursuit strategies and content.
  • Facilitate interview preparation, presentation coaching, and pursuit planning to maximize win potential.
  • Ensure all pursuit deliverables meet quality standards and reflect the DesignGroup brand.
  • Track pursuit performance, conduct debriefs, and refine processes to improve efficiency, consistency, and win rates.
Requirements:

What We're Looking For:

  • 4–7 years of AEC marketing experience with equivalent experience
  • Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
  • Experience leading proposals, presentations, interviews, and pursuit strategy.
  • Strong people management skills
  • Ability to travel for client meetings, interviews, conferences and DesignGroup office collaboration
  • CPSM certification or interest in pursuing certification.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, and CRM platforms.
  • A portfolio is required for consideration. Please submit a portfolio demonstrating relevant marketing work, such as proposals, qualifications packages, interview presentations, branding, campaigns, marketing collateral, or other examples of your work. Confidential information may be redacted as appropriate.

What We Offer:
