What you should expect to do in this role:โ€ฏย 


  • You will collaborate with the Director to provide leadership to our team and play a role inโ€ฏfiscal, human resource, and operational functionsย ย 
  • Your role will activelyย participateย in department and hospital strategic planning andย willย effectively implementย new programsย and servicesย 

  • You will beย maintainingย an effective competency and staff development programย 
  • You will work onย day-to-day operationsย such as:ย processing payroll, managing department expenses,ย participatingย on hospital committees, processing employee evaluations, managing personnel issuesโ€ฏย 
  • You will beย assistingย inย maintainingย a departmental staffing plan that meets the needs of the customer and is responsive to the changing censusย 
  • You will assureย an appropriate skillย mix and staffing levelsย in accordance withย volume demandsย 
  • You will create/fosterย a positive environment and willย lead by example and by holding staff accountable for their behaviors and attitudes (compassionate, professional, communicative)ย 

What qualifications you will need for this role:ย 


  • Current Colorado Registered Nurse License or valid compact licenseย 
  • Current BLS, American Heart Association or American Red Cross,ย requiredย 
  • ย ACLS provider cardย requiredย within the first 12 months of hire, AHA or ARC.
  • Bachelor Science Nursing or actively pursuing with completion within 3 years of hireย requiredย 
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursingย requiredย 
  • Minimum of 2 years clinical RN experienceย requiredย ย 
  • Two years progressive supervisory or charge nurse experience preferredย
