Job description

If you've ever fixed a vent alarm, saved the day, and then immediately got asked to look at three other patients because word spread that you were on the unit... keep reading.

At The Lodge at Red Rocks, we're searching for a Respiratory Therapist who is clinically brilliant, ridiculously observant, and just a little bit obsessed with helping patients breathe better.

Let's be honest.

You didn't become an RT because you enjoy mediocrity.

You became an RT because you enjoy solving problems, improving lives, and occasionally walking into a room, pressing one button, and looking like a wizard while everyone else wonders what just happened.

We're not looking for someone to simply fill a position.

We're looking for the RT who notices subtle changes before they become emergencies.

The RT who educates staff without making them feel stupid.

The RT who can manage vents, trachs, oxygen therapy, and pulmonary patients while still finding time to make the day better for everyone around them.

Why The Lodge at Red Rocks?

Because culture matters.

You'll be working alongside one of the most respected Nursing Home Administrators in the market.

The kind of leader who believes great clinicians should be trusted, supported, and empoweredโ€”not buried under nonsense.

You'll also join an interdisciplinary team that brings energy, accountability, and passion to patient care every single day.

No passengers.

No drama.

No "that's not my job."

Just talented people working together to build something exceptional.

What You'll Do
  • Manage respiratory services for a complex pulmonary population

  • Support ventilator and tracheostomy patients

  • Conduct respiratory assessments and interventions

  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing, therapy, and leadership

  • Educate and mentor clinical staff

  • Help drive pulmonary excellence across the building

  • Improve outcomes and elevate patient care

Qualifications

Required:

  • Current Colorado Respiratory Therapist License

  • CRT or RRT credential through the National Board for Respiratory Care (RRT preferred)

  • Current BLS Certification

  • Experience with ventilator management

  • Experience with tracheostomy care

  • Strong clinical assessment skills

  • Excellent communication and team collaboration

Preferred:

  • ACLS Certification

  • Skilled Nursing Facility, LTACH, Pulmonary Rehab, or Acute Care experience

  • Experience educating staff and building respiratory programs

Bonus Points If You Have Ever...
  • Fixed a problem before anyone else realized there was a problem

  • Heard a vent alarm and immediately knew which patient it was

  • Said "let me take a look" and completely changed the trajectory of someone's day

  • Been called a respiratory wizard, vent whisperer, or miracle worker by nursing staff

What We Offer
  • Competitive compensation

  • Clinical autonomy

  • Leadership that values your expertise

  • A collaborative interdisciplinary team

  • Growth opportunities

  • The ability to make a meaningful impact every single day

Final Question

When was the last time you were excited about a job posting?

Exactly.

Let's change that.
