The Chef team is seeking a Line Cook to join them at Joe's Pub and The Astor, Chef Andrew Carmellini's American restaurant and cabaret space.
Ideal candidates possess:
* Complete shift work, as assigned, timely and thoroughly.
* Comfortable with preparing large quantities.
* Have excellent knife skills.
* Have knowledge of cooking procedures, safety and sanitation.
* Have experience on multiple stations in the kitchen.
* Ensure quality and accuracy of products and dishes.
* Support their fellow cooks.
* Are able to lift 25 lbs or more
