Job description

Red Stag LLC is seeking a skilled Class A CDL Driver/Regional who is responsible for the safe and efficient the driver is responsible for safely and efficiently transporting dairy bulk goods to drop yards within the local area of Portales, NM.

This role ensures timely, compliant, and high-quality product handling while maintaining strong communication with dispatch and positive relationships with farmers. The Loader must follow all food safety standards, perform daily equipment inspections, complete required documentation, and represent the company professionally at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently transport dairy bulk to drop yards
  • Ensure all deliveries are made on time and in compliance with all safety regulations
  • Communicate with dispatch to plan routes and report any delays or issues
  • Inspect and maintain the truck and equipment daily
  • Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate records of deliveries
  • Provide exceptional customer service to processing plants and other stakeholders
  • Adhere to all federal and state laws and regulations related to transportation and dairy production
  • Ensuring safe milk practices when handling milk
  • Other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) Class A with tanker endorsement
  • Minimum driving age of 23
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in liquid tanker hauling
  • Obtain and maintain a milk handler certification
  • Must be in good physical condition with evidence of insurability provided (Medical Card)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiar with ELDs (Electronic Logging Devices) to maintain the required hours of service
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to drop and hook a trailer
  • Ability to climb ladders to check trailer seals
  • Strong navigation and problem-solving skills related to route management
  • Flexibility to work holidays and weekends
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, pull, climb, kneel, crouch, squat, lift 50 pounds, sit for an extended period, and reach overhead
