Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Fish Filleter to join our production team. In this hands-on role, you will cut, trim, and prepare fish products for retail distribution while maintaining high quality and food safety standards. This position is ideal for individuals comfortable working in a fast-paced, cold environment using specialized cutting tools.
Schedule
  • Start Time: 7:00 AM daily (until production is complete)
  • Typical End Times:
    • Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM
    • Tuesday, Thursday: 7:00 PM+
    • Sunday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (or until finish)
    • Days Off: Saturday and either Monday or Wednesdays
Pay Rate: $16.00–$16.50 per hour (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities
  • Fillet, cut, and trim fish using knives, cleavers, and bandsaws
  • Inspect fish for quality; remove bones, scales, and defects
  • Weigh, label, and prepare products for packaging and distribution
  • Portion fish into ready-to-cook retail products
  • Sort fish and byproducts into designated containers
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation
  • Follow all company policies and food safety guidelines
Required Experience
  • 1+ year of experience in fish filleting or similar hands-on food production role
