Job Description

Systems Engineer /Administrator to provide support of complex systems running Redhat Linux and Solaris. 5+ years progressive, technical, job-related experience. Expertise on RedHat Satellite 6 / Puppet, Veritas Clustering on Solaris, RedHat Linux Clustering, Microsoft Windows, Tru64 or VMware would also increase value. Systems Engineer/Administrator must be able to function with limited direction and guidance and be able to diagnose a wide variety of problems. T&M must possess excellent customer relation and communication skills. Must be able to accurately assess problems and if necessary communicate the problem information to peers, support group and HW/OS vendors. T&M must be able to work in a team environment, demonstrate leadership skills, and follow established business processes and procedures. Tasks and Responsibilities: 
- Day to day system administration 
- Problem (break/fix) remediation 
- Security management 
- Change auditing, file cleanup, performance monitoring, patch installation and security related remediation's using Linux scripting.
