TRC Talent is looking for Recycling/ LTO for a client in White, GASUMMARY

The Recycling Associate is responsible for sorting all waste and recycling materials that comes off the Production Line. The Waste & Recycling/Crew Member will learn the different types of Recycle Raw Materials to separate and the different type of Scrap Raw Materials to dispose. This person will also learn how to sort Modules from the Production Line and ensure that No U/L Labels are on the Scrap Modules.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sort trash, recycling materials from the Production Lines
  • Clean and maintain the outside trash area around the Compactor/Pre-Crusher
  • Responsible for cleaning up broken pallets when the Pre-Crusher / Compactor is removed from the Receiver.
  • Responsible for cleaning up trash when the Receivers Box are removed from the Pre-Crusher/Compactor sweep and pick up all paper around the Pre- Crusher/Compactor
  • Responsible for sorting the Brown Paper from the Production Lines for baling.
  • Responsible for draining the CREVO and the Flux in the assigned black drum ID as Dangerous Goods Containers
  • Responsible for packing the damaged frames for Recycle emptied all frames into the GERDAU Open Top
  • Responsible for packing the CREVO Tins for Recycle emptied all tins into the GERDAU Open Top
  • Will be trained and certified to work the Baler Machine as a backup when someone is absent.
  • Will be trained and certified on the Forklift to be a backup person when someone is absent.
  • Responsible for the weight the Cells from Production for shipment- must weighted all cells from the Production Line
  • Will assist the team with strapping the Recycle pallets prior to shipments.
  • Will be trained and certified to drive the Electric Pallet jack as a backup when someone is absent.
  • Bale All Plastics: Blue, White, Black, Beige on night shifts.
  • Bale Brown Papers on all shifts
  • Bale the Cardboards on all shifts during slow Production each shift must bale up 2 Bales (when Production is running all lines, each shift must bale up to 3 Bales)
  • Sweep the floor in the Recycle Area around the Baler Machine
  • Trained to use the PET Chopper for the PET Green Straps
  • Responsible for changing the Receivers Boxes
  • Responsible for crushing the drums in the Drum Crusher
  • Combined all Scrap Modules onto one pallet.
  • Label all boxes for shipment with assigned Placards on all shifts.
  • Loading the Plastic Truck on the night shift
  • Emptied the Hoppers from Packaging Department
  • Emptied trash from the Cells Area place Placard on the Square Plastics and stacked on the floor.
  • Do not put any boxes, or anything near the dock doors.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Driving a Forklift- 1-year experience
  • Baler Machine experience 1-year experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing process
  • Ability to work as a Team Member

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Able to lift 50 pounds without restriction.
  • Ability to stand and be on feet for up to 12 hours.
