General Summary

The Frontline Recruiter leads full-cycle recruiting for Customer Experience (CX), Distribution Center (DC), and Retail roles within USA and Canada. This role balances individual hiring and high-volume hiring with a focus on quality of hireand candidate experience.This roleoperateswith strong independence in day-to-day execution, applies functionalexpertise, andidentifiesopportunities to improve recruiting processes and outcomes. This recruiter is expected to proactively source talent, build pipelines, and partner closely with hiring managers to ensure we hire candidates who align with Patagonia's values and the realities of frontline work.

WhatYou'llDo

Full-Cycle Recruiting Execution

  • Manage end-to-end recruiting acrossallfrontline teamsforbothinternalandexternaljob requisitions. This includes high-volumeseasonalhiring and individual roles

  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, hiring plans, and timelines

  • Execute structured, consistent hiring processes aligned to recruiting policies and tools

  • Ensureequitableand consistent candidate evaluation practices

Proactive Sourcing & Pipeline Building

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies (direct sourcing, community outreach, partnerships)

  • Build diverse candidate pipelines aligned to business needs and company values

  • Reduce reliance on inbound applicants by activelyidentifyingtalent

  • Maintain ongoing pipelines for high-volume and recurring roles

Quality of Hire & Hiring Manager Partnership

  • Advisehiring managers on candidate quality, market insights, and trade-offs

  • Influence decision-making using structured criteria andevidence-based assessments

  • Ensure alignment between candidate profiles and long-term success in frontline roles

  • Support internal mobility whilemaintainingfairness and transparency

Process Improvement & Experience

  • Identifygaps in the current recruiting experience and recommend improvements

  • Partner with the recruiting technology team to simplify and streamline hiring workflows for managers and candidates

  • Use data and feedback to improve time-to-fill, candidate experience, and manager satisfaction

  • Contribute to scalable recruiting practices and tools

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with People + CultureBusiness Partners,Talent Technology teams

  • Communicate clearly with stakeholders on hiring progress, risks, and priorities

Experience You Bring

  • 4+years of experiencein recruiting, with exposure to high-volume or frontline hiring preferred

  • Proven ability to proactively source candidates and build pipelinesthrough multiple channels includingATS, LinkedIn Recruiter,hiring events, and other platforms

  • Strong judgment in assessing candidate quality and fitin alignment withjob requirements, competencies, and company values

  • Experience withcomplex offer negotiationssometimes requiring relocationor tight timelines

  • Demonstrated ability toinfluence hiring managers and guide decision-making

  • Experienceidentifyingprocess gaps and driving improvements

  • Strong organization, communication, and stakeholder management skills

  • Proficiencywith majorATS/HRIStechnology(e.g.Workday, SAPSuccessFactors, BambooHR, or Greenhouse)tocreaterequisitions, review records,andmanage candidate flowfrompost to hire.

  • Experience filling positionsin multiple states andjurisdictions, often with unique legal and compliance requirements

Hiring Range: $95,000-$110,000 USD Annual

At Patagonia, pay ranges are assigned to a job based on the location specific market median of similarjobsaccording to 3rd party salary benchmark surveys. Individual pay within that range can vary for several reasons including skills/capabilities, experience, and available budget.The Hiring Range reflects where in the range we intend to hire for this role.
