Job Title: Software Engineer (Contract)

Location: Middletown, RI (Hybrid โ€“ 3 days onsite per week)

Job Description: Our client is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications within a modern, cloud-native environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in C#, ASP.NET, and Azure-based development, along with the ability to collaborate across teams to deliver secure, high-performance solutions. This role involves building and enhancing enterprise web applications, integrating AI-assisted development tools, supporting cloud-native architectures, and contributing to continuous improvement of development practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using C#, ASP.NET, and modern frameworks.
  • Build and support RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain server-hosted web applications and services.
  • Develop Azure Functions and other serverless/cloud-native solutions in Microsoft Azure.
  • Integrate AI-assisted development tools to enhance productivity and code quality.
  • Modify existing applications to meet changing business requirements and improve performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews and follow CI/CD best practices.
  • Support application integrations with internal and third-party systems.

Required Qualifications:
