Job Summary

This position is a full lifecycle, high volume recruiting opportunity in which you will use all of your skills to accomplish candidate attraction, screening, interviewing, selecting and onboarding our new employees! Recruiting Specialists will focus on establishing best practices and driving recruiting metrics with the recruiting team.

In this role, you will be instrumental in finding top-notch talent for our company with your dynamic outreach skills, candidate flow management, and the ability to establish relationships while being the ultimate ambassador of our brand.

This position will be based in one of the following major metropolitan airport locations:

  • Denver, CO (DEN)
  • Newark, NJ (EWR)
  • Jamaica, NY (JFK)
  • Philadelphia, PA (PHL)
Responsibilities

Your main duties will include, but will not be limited to:

    • Understand the roles you're filling by partnering closely with Hiring Managers and building relationships with Operational Leaders
    • Use the knowledge you gain to source candidates using a combination of social media, job boards, outreach, and other venues
    • Actively source passive candidates by conducting market research, developing professional relationships and referral networks
    • Manage job requisitions in applicant tracking system
    • Consult with the business on innovative ways to promote WFS in the communities where we hire
    • Partner with HR Managers and field Recruiting teams to coordinate job fairs and/or hiring events for high-volume needs
    • Schedule interviews and coordinate the moving parts of the hiring process for a remarkable candidate experience
    • Perform pre-employment verification and facilitate on-boarding of new hires
Minimum Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience recruiting in warehouse, transportation, airline, logistics, call center or similar, high volume recruiting environments
  • Must be able to travel overnight when needed for in person hiring events (up to 20%)
  • Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language.
Preferred Skills
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • SAP Success Factors experience a plus
  • Ability to think critically and propose improvements
  • Passion for connecting with a diverse workforce
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
  • Remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
  • Walk short distances.
  • Reach above and/or below shoulder.
  • Handle/grasp documents or office equipment.
  • Sit and/or stand for short or extended periods of time.
  • Lift/carry/move objects, files and documents up to 10 pounds.
  • Work in an office environment using standard office equipment.
  • Talk, listen, and speak clearly on telephone.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
