Job description

Roles & Responsibilities:

Primary duties include but are not limited to the following:

Recruiting & Candidate Experience

  • Attract, engage, and evaluate candidates for owneroperator, driver, and terminal opportunities
  • Serve as an initial point of contact and deliver a professional, responsive candidate experience
  • Maintain consistent followup to keep candidates engaged throughout the recruiting and onboarding process
  • Support onboarding coordination to help ensure smooth transitions from candidate to active driver

Driver Retention & Engagement

  • Support driver retention initiatives by maintaining regular communication with drivers and owneroperators
  • Partner with operations, safety, and terminal teams to help address driver questions or concerns
  • Assist with tracking driver feedback, trends, and common issues impacting retention
  • Support outreach related to anniversaries, checkins, reactivation efforts, and other initiatives
  • Help reinforce company culture, expectations, and values through messaging and followthrough

Systems, Reporting & Process

  • Maintain accurate and uptodate information within the recruiting CRM and related systems
  • Track recruiting and retention activity, supporting reporting on pipeline, onboarding, and retention metrics
  • Follow established workflows and contribute to process documentation and consistency
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to support recruiting and retention campaigns

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Minimum 1-year experience in a recruiting role preferred.
  • Knowledge of DOT/FMCSA rules and regulations, driver qualifications, and CSA.
  • Familiar with basic DOT driver hiring requirements and compliance.
  • Professional written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Microsoft Teams.
  • Proven ability to develop strong working relationships.
  • High degree of professional integrity.
