The 70/30 rule in hiring suggests that recruiters should spend approximately 70% of their time sourcing and engaging candidates, and 30% on administrative tasks and interviews. For recruiters, effective time management between these activities can improve hiring efficiency and candidate quality.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Recruiter, and why are they important?

To excel as a Recruiter, you need strong interpersonal skills, sourcing expertise, and a solid understanding of the hiring process, often supported by a degree in human resources or a related field. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruitment marketing tools, and professional networking platforms is commonly required. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills help set top recruiters apart. These skills are crucial for effectively identifying, attracting, and retaining the best talent for an organization.

What are some common challenges Recruiter Base professionals face when sourcing candidates, and how can they overcome them?

Recruiter Base professionals often encounter challenges such as a highly competitive talent market, limited access to niche candidates, and managing multiple job requisitions simultaneously. To overcome these, recruiters can leverage advanced sourcing tools, build strong talent pipelines, and foster relationships with potential candidates even before roles open up. Collaborating closely with hiring managers and staying updated on industry trends also help ensure more effective and efficient candidate sourcing.

What jobs pay 2000 a day?

High-paying jobs that can pay around $2,000 a day typically include specialized roles such as surgeons, anesthesiologists, corporate lawyers, and certain executive positions. These roles often require advanced education, certifications, and significant experience, and may involve high-stakes environments or freelance consulting in fields like finance or technology.

What job makes $10,000 a month without a degree?

In recruiting roles such as high-level agency recruiters or executive headhunters, it is possible to earn $10,000 or more per month through commissions and bonuses, especially with strong networks and sales skills. These positions often require excellent communication, negotiation skills, and industry knowledge but do not necessarily require a formal degree.

Why is Gen Z struggling to find jobs?

Gen Z job seekers often face challenges such as limited work experience, high competition, and employers' preference for candidates with specific skills or certifications. Additionally, economic factors and changing hiring practices can make it harder for younger applicants to secure positions, especially in entry-level roles that require adaptability and digital literacy. Recruiters look for candidates who demonstrate relevant skills and a strong understanding of modern tools and communication methods.

What are Recruiter Base roles?

Recruiter Base roles refer to positions focused on sourcing, screening, and hiring candidates for various job openings within an organization or on behalf of clients. Recruiters manage the recruitment process from identifying staffing needs to onboarding new employees. They often use databases, job boards, and networking to find qualified candidates, and may specialize in certain industries or job types. A Recruiter Base may also refer to the foundational team of recruiters within a company or recruiting agency, responsible for building a strong talent pipeline.

Recruiter

Base Salary: $70,000-$80,000 commensurate with experience, plus additional earning potential through a performance-based bonus program.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced, relationship-driven Recruiter to support full-cycle hiring across clinical and corporate functions. This remote role partners closely with operational and corporate leaders to attract, engage, and hire top talent across multiple markets. The ideal candidate is highly proactive, comfortable with active sourcing, and skilled at building candidate pipelines and driving hiring outcomes. While the primary focus of this role is clinical recruiting, the Recruiter will also support corporate hiring needs as business demands require. This is an excellent opportunity for a recruiter who enjoys building relationships, influencing hiring decisions, and making a direct impact on a growing healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities

Full-Cycle Recruiting

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from intake through onboarding for clinical and corporate positions.
  • Conduct phone screens, coordinate interviews, facilitate offers, and support pre-employment activities.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, workforce planning initiatives, and hiring priorities.
  • Maintain ownership of recruiting activity and hiring outcomes within an assigned territory or business function.
  • Ensure an exceptional candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Partner with Human Resources to ensure a smooth transition from candidate to employee.
  • Assist with offer documentation, background screening coordination, and pre-employment processes.

Sourcing & Talent Attraction

  • Proactively source and engage passive and active candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, referrals, networking, social media, and other sourcing channels.
  • Build and maintain pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
  • Support employee referral initiatives, recruitment marketing efforts, career fairs, university partnerships, and student outreach programs.
  • Develop creative sourcing strategies for difficult-to-fill clinical and corporate positions.

Hiring Strategy & Stakeholder Partnership

  • Serve as a trusted recruiting partner to operational and corporate leaders.
  • Develop and refine phone screen guides, interview questions, and candidate evaluation criteria.
  • Coach hiring managers on interview best practices and hiring decisions.
  • Lead intake meetings and provide regular updates on candidate pipelines, market trends, and recruiting activity.
  • Drive consistency and adherence to recruiting processes across assigned regions.

Recruiting Operations & Technology

  • Maintain accurate candidate records and interview feedback within Workable.
  • Utilize recruiting technologies and sourcing platforms to maximize hiring effectiveness.
  • Track recruiting metrics and generate reports to support business decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in healthcare, staffing, or talent acquisition.
  • Demonstrated success in active sourcing, candidate pipeline development, phone screening, and full-cycle recruiting.
  • Ability to develop interview guides and candidate assessment frameworks.
  • Experience managing multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (preferably Workable), LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and other sourcing technologies.
Benefits
  • Stay Covered: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance options for you and your eligible dependents.
  • Real Balance: Generous paid time off because life outside of work matters.
  • Plan Ahead: Company-matched 401(k).
  • Care for Your Crew: MetLife Pet Insurance with flexible plans, reimbursement on eligible expenses, and 24/7 telehealth support.
  • Play More, Pay Less: Exclusive savings through PlumBenefits and LifeMart on travel, entertainment, shopping, dining, and more.
