$15.00 per hour pay - 20 hours per week

Schedule will include weekends and holidays as well as 1-2 flex days during the week

Qualifications

HS diploma or GED

Experience working with geriatric population preferred

Experience in social or recreational program for licensed health care setting preferred

Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word

Job Responsibilities

Activity Partners serve as therapeutic recreations assistants under the Activities Director for skilled nursing facility and assisted living facility residents

Review resident activity needs and plan recreation programs based on individual needs and resident interest, including music, art, discussion groups, re-motivation therapy, sensory stimulation, and other special entertainment

Directs movement of residents to and from recreational areas

Prepares and maintains daily participation logs and schedules in accordance with state and federal regulations

Maintains accurate documentation of residents' progress and responses to programs
