Pay Rate: Up to $20 per hour
Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities Available

Luxor at Mills Pond Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking energetic, compassionate, and creative Recreation Aides to join our team. The Recreation Aide will assist in planning, organizing, and implementing recreational and therapeutic activities that enhance the quality of life for our residents.

This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with seniors and making a meaningful impact in a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily recreational, social, and therapeutic activities for residents
  • Encourage resident participation and engagement in programs and events
  • Help organize group activities, games, outings, entertainment, and holiday events
  • Provide one-on-one interaction and support for residents as needed
  • Set up and clean activity areas before and after programs
  • Assist with transporting residents to and from activities when necessary
  • Maintain a positive, friendly, and supportive environment
  • Document participation and attendance in accordance with facility procedures
  • Work collaboratively with the Recreation Department and interdisciplinary team
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in recreation, activities, healthcare, or customer service preferred
  • Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting is a plus
  • Compassionate, patient, and dependable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
