Job description

Grandview Medical Center, Birmingham, AL, is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant specializing in Cardiology to join our Inpatient Team.

  • Minimum of one year of NP experience in cardiology or cardiovascular surgery required; inpatient or critical care experience preferred.
  • Acute Care Physician Assistant a plus!
  • Involves daily rounding, consult management, and patient discharge planning in collaboration with the attending cardiology team.
  • Provide comprehensive, evidence-based cardiovascular care - ranging from acute coronary syndromes and heart failure to post-procedural follow-up.
  • This is a 100% inpatient role managing adult patients (ages 18+).
  • Full-time, hospital-employed position.
  • Participation in shared call rotation for nights and weekends is required.
