Perfect for CNA's Ready for a Change

This position is for the day shift at our Men's Residential program located in Fridley. **All Tech staff are required to work every other weekend.


Are you a CNA, PCA, or directcare professional who loves helping people - but is ready for a role with no lifting, no showers, no physical strain, and more meaningful clientconnection?

At Transformation House, our Recovery Techs support women in residential substance use and mental health treatment. This role is ideal for CNA's who want to stay in client care while transitioning into behavioral health, mental health, or addiction services.

What You'll Do

You'll help maintain a safe, supportive, and structured environment for clients in recovery. Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitor and document client activities to ensure safety and accountability
  • Conduct facility rounds every two hours (hourly during visitation)
  • Assist with client admissions, discharges, and documentation
  • Administer or oversee medication distribution (training provided)
  • Perform drug screenings and breathalyzer tests
  • Maintain accurate electronic medical records (Procentive)
  • Support facility cleanliness and client chore completion
  • Provide transportation using company vehicles
  • Utilize deescalation skills to support clients during difficult moments
  • Prepare simple meals when needed
  • Attend required meetings and training sessions

This role blends structure, teamwork, and client interaction - without the physical demands of traditional CNA work.


Requirements:

  • Ability to be approved to drive company vehicles under company insurance
  • Ability to pass DHS Background Study
  • CNA Certificate Preferred, but not required.
  • Basic computer skills
  • Must have 2 years continuous freedom from substance abuse
