As a licensed mental health therapist at Spero Family Crisis Intervention, you will work in a collaborative and supportive remote environment, allowing you to manage your own schedule with flexibility, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate client needs. Our outpatient office promotes a therapeutic atmosphere where professionals from various disciplines come together to share insights and strategies, enhancing the care we provide to our clients. • Conduct comprehensive assessments that evaluate clients’ substance use patterns, mental health status, and specific therapy needs.
• Create customized treatment plans that address drug dependence and any co-occurring mental health issues, employing evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, encouraging open dialogue and personal growth among participants.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team—comprising physicians, nurses, and case managers—to ensure a unified and holistic approach to client care.
• Provide education and support to clients’ families, enhancing their involvement in the treatment process and fostering a supportive home environment.
• Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to all legal and ethical standards while documenting sessions and client progress meticulously.

Our clients range from adolescents to adults who struggle with various levels of substance abuse. Many face concurrent mental health issues, necessitating a multi-faceted treatment strategy. You will engage with a diverse population, adapting your therapeutic techniques to meet individual needs and backgrounds, ensuring that each client feels understood and supported throughout their recovery journey.

• A current valid license as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• Demonstrable knowledge of addiction treatment practices and the ability to apply evidence-based interventions effectively.
• Proficient in building therapeutic relationships, with strong motivation and communication skills to inspire clients.
• Ability to work empathetically with a diverse client base, fostering trust and collaboration.

• Prior experience in a substance abuse treatment setting, with specific proficiency in leading therapy sessions tailored for addiction recovery.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care practices and the integration of mental health treatment.
• Familiarity with case management processes and collaborative care approaches.

• An attractive annual salary range of $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience.
