Job description

TURNING POINT CENTER OF CHITTENDEN COUNTY is seeking a Corrections Recovery Coach to support individuals in their recovery journey through onsite, part-time services in Burlington, VT.

Position Summary

The Corrections Recovery Coach will provide direct coaching and structured support to individuals involved in or transitioning through the corrections system. This role focuses on strengthening recovery skills, promoting accountability, and connecting participants with resources that support long-term stability.

Working onsite in Burlington, VT, the Corrections Recovery Coach will build trusting relationships, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and help participants work toward practical recovery goals in a safe, respectful environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one coaching, mentoring, and support to help individuals develop and maintain recovery-focused goals

  • Facilitate structured check-ins and supportive programming that encourages accountability and progress

  • Assist participants in identifying barriers to recovery and developing actionable plans to address them

  • Coordinate with case managers and partner agencies to support continuity of care and successful transitions

  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation of services and participant progress in accordance with program expectations

Required Qualifications

  • Experience working directly with individuals facing behavioral health, recovery, or related challenges
