Holding Hope Therapeutic Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team in Portland, Oregon. • Conduct thorough assessments to identify the specific needs and recovery goals of each individual seeking treatment for substance use disorders.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that utilize evidence-based interventions tailored to the unique circumstances of each patient.
• Facilitate individual counseling sessions, employing motivational interviewing techniques and cognitive-behavioral therapy approaches to encourage patient engagement and progress.
• Lead group therapy sessions that foster peer support and communal learning among participants in recovery.
• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, addiction medicine specialists, and other healthcare providers to ensure an integrated approach to patient care.
• Provide crisis intervention services to assist patients in emergency situations related to substance use.
• Educate patients and their families about addiction, develop recovery strategies, and connect them with community resources that aid in their healing process.
• Ensure that all patient records, documentation, and communications adhere to legal and ethical standards of confidentiality.
• Participate in team meetings, contribute to case consultations, and engage in ongoing professional development activities.
• Stay current with research and advancements in the field of substance use treatment to enhance the quality of care offered.

You will work with a diverse population of individuals struggling with substance use disorders at various stages of their recovery. Our clients are often navigating complex challenges related to addiction, and your experience and compassion will be crucial in helping them build resilience and achieve their recovery goals.

• A Master's or doctoral degree in a relevant field, such as psychology, social work, or counseling.
• Demonstrated expertise in substance use disorders, recovery-oriented care, and evidence-based treatment modalities.
• A minimum of two years of experience providing direct therapeutic services in addiction treatment, including both individual and group therapy contexts.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to connect and empathize with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Relevant licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in Oregon is required.

• Prior experience working in an outpatient setting, particularly in programs focused on substance use recovery.
• Familiarity with contemporary therapeutic technologies and tools, including teletherapy platforms.
• Experience with interdisciplinary collaboration and effective team-based care.

The salary range for this position is between $80,000 and $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer:
