Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Key roles & responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to -

Primarily responsible for receiving, shipping and other warehouse functions and processes (e.g. inventory cycle count, maintaining & ordering shipping supplies, record keeping, organize warehouse & maintain cleanliness, etc.) to meet departmental schedules, committed timelines and legal requirements while making sure that the work meets cGMP, quality and safety compliance.

Receiving & verifying the purchased goods against purchase order and shipping documents, process the paperwork and complete all necessary transactions. Stage/ deliver received items to the appropriate location/ personnel and inform the person who has ordered that item(s) as need be.

Inspects shipment/ freight upon receipt, document any signs of damage/ quality or quantity discrepancies and inform the supervising authorities. Work with purchasing department to resolve quantity discrepancies observed against purchase order.

Assemble out-going shipments, prepare shipping documentation and co-ordinate with third-party carriers like UPS, FedEx to arrange for timely pick-up and delivery. Share the tracking information of the shipment to the requester team member regarding the shipment delivery status.

Support inventory transactions to receive, assign location and issue inventory as required. Weigh & dispense raw materials as and when needed.

Prepares & maintains a variety of records (electronic &/or paper), files and reports of receiving, shipping and warehouse inventories as directed.

Operates a variety of warehouse equipment and vehicles; utilize a variety of hand tools as required; perform & maintain daily check reports of warehouse equipment & coordinate with the engineering department for the maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment as needed.

Support coordination with the vendors, suppliers and other internal departments of the establishment.

Continue to gain work knowledge and implement the knowledge to identify areas of improvement; assist with continuous improvement.

Comply with cGMP, Quality & safety compliance, rules and regulations and maintain clean, organized and safe warehouse and work areas.

Perform cleaning activities to maintain cleanliness of warehouse.

Performs other functions as required or assigned

Requirements

Position Requirements and Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or GED required.

2 - 3 years of warehouse experience in Pharmaceutical Industry required.

Expected Skills:

Ability to effectively manage time, meet targets and coordinate activities with team members 

Should have knowledge and understanding of cGMP, DEA and Safety compliance, rules and regulations.

Should have excellent English verbal and written communication abilities for proper coordination and communication with co-workers and other department personnel.

Should be self driven and motivated and should require minimal supervision.

Take the ownership of the task and warehouse, and always be open to implement new ideas to ensure proper time management.

Should be acquainted and able to use Microsoft Word, Excel and other computer programs.

Ability to work flexible hours as needed.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
