 What You’ll Do:

  • Incorporate good manufacturing practices established at the location
  • Operates a forklift assisting in the loading and unloading of incoming or outgoing product, material, or supplies
  • Performs the duties of label machine operator, APV machine operator, depal operator, brite stacker or forklift and case stacker operator, as needed
  • Accurately follow a daily production schedule to distribute and track appropriate amounts of labels
  • Accurately monitor the number of labels used daily
  • Acknowledge shortages in label supplies and report to appropriate personnel
  • Be able to receive in and ship labels
  • May perform janitor duties, sorting, stripping and dock duties as necessary
  • Maintain inventory records for labels that are on site
  • May be required to work Saturday and Sunday during heavy seasons
  • Accurately pick and stage labeled and brite products for label lines
  • Accurately complete labeling and packaging documentations
  • Adhere to all Lakeside Foods policies and procedures
  • Notify manger immediately if any unsafe or potentially hazardous conditions are discovered

 What You’ll Bring:

  • Prior experience is preferred but not required.
  • Must be knowledgeable of the warehouse operations
  • Ability to read and to interpret documents such as safety rules and operating and instructions
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
