DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Senior Manager Activation, Communications, Social for Joint Reconstruction located in Warsaw, IN, West Chester, PA, Raynham, MA, or Palm Beach Gardens, FL. This role will report into the Joint Reconstruction Marketing Services Team.

Position Summary

The Activation, Communications, & Social Senior Manager is a strategic marketing leader within the Joint Reconstruction Marketing Services organization responsible for transforming marketing strategies into integrated, customer-centered activation plans that accelerate awareness, engagement, adoption, and business growth.

This role serves as the critical connection between Product Marketing, Marketing Services, Corporate Communications, Commercial teams, and agency partners to ensure consistent and impactful customer experiences across communications, social media, digital channels, product launches, and marketing campaigns. The individual will lead omnichannel activation strategies, internal and external communications planning, social and digital engagement initiatives, and campaign execution governance across the Joint Reconstruction portfolio.

Responsibilities

Integrated Marketing Activation

  • Lead the development and execution of integrated activation plans for product launches, growth initiatives and strategic campaigns.
  • Translate marketing strategies into actionable communication and engagement programs across multiple channels.
  • Ensure campaigns are effectively activated across customer, sales, professional education, and commercial touchpoints.
  • Drive consistency in customer experience, messaging, and brand expression across all activation efforts.

Communications Strategy

  • Develop and lead internal and external communications strategies aligned to business and marketing priorities.
  • Partner with Corporate Communications, Product Marketing and Marketing Services teams to create coordinated communication plans.
  • Support leadership communications, launch communications, and customer-facing messaging.

Social Media & Digital Leadership

  • Own Joint Reconstruction social and digital activation strategy in partnership with Product Marketing and the Corporate Communications team
  • Develop channel strategies and content deployment plans across platforms such as LinkedIn, websites, digital campaigns, and other approved professional channels.
  • Partner with communications, digital teams, and agencies to drive audience engagement and content performance.

Performance Measurement & Optimization

  • Establish KPIs and success metrics for communications, digital, social, and activation initiatives.
  • Analyze campaign performance and customer engagement outcomes to drive continuous improvement.
  • Utilize insights and data to optimize resource allocation and future investments.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Experience

  • 10-12+ years of progressive experience in marketing, communications, digital marketing, campaign activation, or related commercial functions.
  • Demonstrated success leading integrated marketing campaigns and omnichannel activation strategies.
  • Experience partnering with communications teams, digital marketing organizations, and external agencies.
  • Healthcare, medical device, pharmaceutical, or life sciences experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience working in complex, matrixed organizations with multiple stakeholders.
