Position Summary

The Senior Project Director is responsible for driving revenue growth, managing projects, leading teams, and ensuring operational quality across assigned service lines.

The Senior Project Director is not a desk-only role. This position requires a hands-on leader who can sell work, estimate opportunities, write scopes, manage projects, and lead field and office teams through consistent exceptional execution. In this role, you will be expected to build relationships, identify revenue opportunities, close work, oversee project profitability, and ensure clients receive a high level of communication and service from start to finish.

The right candidate must be comfortable selling, estimating, writing scopes, running projects, and leading teams in a fast-paced disaster restoration and reconstruction environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, prepare, and execute a customer-focused growth and operational plan
  • Sell restoration and reconstruction services across assigned service lines
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, adjusters, consultants, property managers, commercial clients, and referral partners
  • Prospect new opportunities and set appointments
  • Prepare estimates, scopes, budgets, and proposals for mitigation, restoration, and reconstruction projects
  • Close point-of-sale opportunities when needed
  • Oversee assigned or sold projects from initial opportunity through completion
  • Manage day-to-day project execution, profitability, documentation, communication, and client satisfaction
  • Lead, manage, and support project teams, field teams, estimators, and operational staff
  • Create and implement scalable, consistent operational processes
  • Train and support teams on operational standards, customer communication, documentation, and project execution
  • Identify and maximize revenue opportunities through strong operational performance and collaboration with business development team
  • Work closely with internal team members to capitalize on revenue-generating opportunities
  • Communicate effectively in high-pressure and time-sensitive situations
  • Assist with collection efforts as neededMaintain client information, sales activity, and project updates within CRM and company systems
  • Support corporate reporting requirements
  • Preserve memberships in relevant industry organizations as applicable
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in disaster restoration, reconstruction, construction management, commercial restoration, or a similar leadership role
  • Proven ability to sell, estimate, write scopes, manage projects, and lead teams
  • Understanding of mitigation, reconstruction, estimating, project management, and client relationship management
  • Analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and accountability
  • Solid business judgment and the ability to make decisions in fast-moving situations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong presentation and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to lead teams while also staying directly involved in sales, estimating, and project execution
  • Collaborative mindset with a demonstrated record of proactive communication
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with CRM systems, estimating platforms, and project management tools (preferred)
  • Capacity to work independently and collaboratively in a high-pressure, on-call environment with changing priorities
  • Willingness to work outside of normal business hours when needed
