EMERGENCY RESTORATION ESTIMATOR
Paragon Property Restoration
DC / Maryland / Northern Virginia
Paragon Property Restoration is looking for an experienced and motivated Emergency Restoration Estimator to join our growing team. We are seeking someone who understands water mitigation, reconstruction, insurance claims, and Xactimate estimating in the restoration industry.
This position is ideal for someone who can properly inspect losses, communicate with adjusters and customers, build accurate estimates, and help move jobs efficiently from emergency services through reconstruction.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Perform on-site inspections for water, fire, mold, and storm damage losses
  • Create detailed Xactimate estimates for mitigation and reconstruction
  • Upload and manage estimates through insurance carrier portals and TPAs
  • Work with adjusters, project managers, and homeowners throughout the claim process
  • Review supplements and negotiate with carriers when needed
  • Document losses with photos, moisture readings, notes, and scope details
  • Assist with insurance documentation and claim communication
  • Ensure estimates follow IICRC standards and insurance guidelines
  • Help maintain organized and compliant project files
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Experience in restoration estimating required
  • Strong knowledge of Xactimate
  • Understanding of water mitigation and reconstruction processes
  • Ability to read scopes and identify missing line items
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Valid driver’s license
PREFERRED:
  • IICRC Certifications
  • Experience with MICA, DASH, XactAnalysis, CompanyCam, or Docusketch
  • Insurance carrier / TPA experience
  • Supplement negotiation experience
