The Role
The FinOps Associate completes daily vital activities to support Workplace Investing (WI) Defined Contribution (DC) product offerings. Working within both a dynamic team environment and independently to complete daily control activities which involve monetary and non-monetary processes. The associate must understand in detail how and why functions are performed and how they relate to the overall service structure. As part of a small team, you will be very valuable in working with internal and external business partners to support team processes throughout the day.

The Team
The Financial Operations Investment Execution and Oversight organization oversees investment level processing for all of WI's Defined Contribution (DC) investment offerings. Processing includes onboarding client investment options, moving money, reconciling transactions, and resolving discrepancies within each of the processes. The team's support a number of specific products including, Self Directed Brokerage, Company Stock, Fidelity Funds, and Non-Fidelity Mutual funds.
  • The Investment Reconciliation role will support the daily reconciliation for plan to fund for all FPRS clones, daily recon of balance adjustments, gain/loss account and other fee reconciliation. Investment Reconciliation which performs a daily reconciliation between the DC recordkeeping system and the external account for all 25,000 plus investment products. The team members play a key role in building and maintaining relationships with internal business partners and collaborating with them when appropriate to ensure that all standard methodologies are followed.

Fidelity's Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
